^I've shot a gun once.. I just want to go in knowing the basics on how to use firearms :P
Take the CFSC and CRFSC. Come in, sit down, PAY ATTENTION, ask questions that you don't know the answers to, and score 100% on all four tests. Walk away with good muzzle control and trigger finger discipline. Learn the PROVE procedure. It saves lives.

Then leave it at that. CSC will train you on everything you need to know.

It is easier to train good habits than it is to un-train bad habits.

Hello,

Quick question regarding CTP 2, I received my invitation for training (CTP 3) beginning in early April and I accepted earlier this week. Will I be receiving some sort of package from CSC recruiting for CTP 2? Or can I log onto the site where I completed CTP 1 and begin working on CTP 2?

Thanks!

As far as I understand. You must complete CTP 2 before going to three, because you hand in or they have your assignments and there's a test that you'll complete on one of the initial days of CTP 3. Keep in mind, I just read this after doing some research so I cannot be 100%.. What you can do is use the email in the help section in CTP 1 and ask for yourself.
You don't want to be at CTP 3 and not have CTP 2 done... :)

In my CTP 1, there is access to 2 but when I asked, they said not to start 2 until I get invited to do so.
If you've got 3 in under a month, I'd find out ASAP..

Hi again guys and gals,

I had received my email stating I passed my written WCPT-351 and SJT testing on Feb.11th.

I was scrolling through some of people’s progression and noticed they were interviewed relatively quickly after receiving their test scores. Is it normal for me to not have been contacted yet for an interview?

Thank you for you input you can provide.

S.

Hello, I'm just wondering, have you heard back from them yet about an interview? I wrote the test on January 31 and also received an email on February 11 saying I passed both tests but haven't heard anything else yet.

One of my friends has been through the program (graduated 2 days ago actually), after he wrote his test he heard back within 2 weeks about his results and interview, it only took about a month for him to do all his testing, interviews, medicals, etc. before stating CTP 1. So I'm just curious if you have heard back yet? Thanks!

For me, I didn’t know I passed the tests until I was scheduled for an interview. I didn’t know I passed my interview until I was invited to CTP1 and I didn’t know that I passed the psychological and was medically cleared until I recieved my invite to CTP 2/3.
