How long after completing all the steps does it normally take to get an email for CTP 2? Been playing the waiting game for a few weeks now, just wondering what other applicant’s experiences have been
I'd also like to know. I've been waiting about a month
I've only been waiting for just over a week now, but I would love to know when are the dates for the next couple of intakes.

I was sent an invite a little under a month from when I completed CTP1. The invite was sent on Nov 11th week, for an offer in P.E.I. Jan 20th. Which I needed to defer.

I’m really hoping to get an invite for the Aug core. 🤞🏻 It would make life a lot easier to organize with kids in school and running a business on my own.

How long does it take on average to find out if you passed psych exam?
I never received information at all.
Some people received letters in the mail. I can’t confirm if they were pass/fail letters.

Was able to finish CTP 1 in 5 days today (started on Monday evening).

I wouldn’t recommend this pace if you are out of school for a while but it’s possible nevertheless if you are recent/active student and used to reading and assimilating tremendous amount of information in short period of time.

Does anyone know what exactly is CTP 1 ? Is it assignments, lecture, videos etc ?
Is there an exam at the end ?
How much time do I need to allocate per day ?

Does it need to be done in a month or you can just sit and finish it in 1 week ?
They give you 4 weeks. I completed mine in just over a week
That’s impressive! Did you even sleep? I guess it really depends on what a persons other responsibilities are. So, it can be done and you’re proof of that. 👍🏻
I work full time and it wasn’t easy. Wanted to get it done before my vacation! Hard work pays off!

Hey guys,

Just curious if anyone who applied for the 01-15-2020 cutoff date has gotten any word back yet!

I haven’t heard anything but am hoping to get something back soon!

Good luck everyone!
I'm in the same boat. Keep us posted and good luck!

Takes a few months. Hold tight.

Was CBSA any quicker? Are you sitting in that pool also? I’ve considered it.

I was in the CBSA competition for about 9 months before failing at the psych stage. Unfortunately that means a 2 year wait period before I'm eligible to reapply.

Does anybody know if there are any breaks for time between ctp3 in Kingston? Like if the class graduates is there a few weeks break in between ctp3 or are the running them consecutively. Thanks for the input in advance.
CTPs in Kingston and PEI are running continually, with very little time between classes.

For example, the three classes currently running in PEI graduate on 03 April, 07 April, and 21 April. But the replacement CTP's start on 14, 21 and 28 April. So there will be a period of only 7 days with one CTP in progress, and within 2 weeks it will be back to 3 full classes. Kingston is on a similar turnaround schedule.

Hello all,

Does anyone know how backed up psychological testing/interviews are for ontario?

I've completed CTP 1 & medical testing, been waiting approximately two months for medical results but have still not been scheduled for psych testing. Has anyone else experienced a delay at this stage?

And at what point should I contact recruitment?

Thanks!
