Re: Applying to Correctional Service Canada
About a week after my interview they started to check my references and about 2 weeks later they sent me to get fingerprinted.

Glad I'm not the only one! I wonder what that's about

I as well got fingerprinted after even before the references
Re: Applying to Correctional Service Canada
Yikes!
I'm waiting in the pool and did my stage 1 in January and I haven't done my fingerprints yet.

Re: Applying to Correctional Service Canada
I don't know, I was fingerprinted before, since I volunteer with the police service so maybe that caused some sort of blip to come up that they needed to check my fingerprints.

Look back around page 271 of this forum. It seems to say who will have to get fingerprints.

Check the RCMP website for all the latest and greatest on fingerprint requirements. Then you all know why some were
and some weren't
asked for prints.
Thanks.

Thanks.

....I still don't see it... I have searched the forum (and have found something about sharing a name with someone...?) and searched the RCMP site.... unless it's so glaringly obvious that I assume that couldn't be it, I'm stumped.
Could you enlighten me?

I also wanted to add that my grammar in that post is not a great representation of my grasp of the English language... I re-wrote the post a few times and missed a few words while putting sentences back together... Thanks for not pointing any of it out though
And yes... I do need a hobby.
No problem good luck and seriously..you need a hobby..or a few of them. Especially doing this job...it helps deal with the stress and helps you unwind. CX that don't have hobbies when they retire..die.
Keep physically fit... going to the gym after shift relieves strss.
