Almost a year ago. You want to see a gong show..the federal gov't tendering contracts, contractors stretching the job out for months over the end date, coming back later to fix obvious mistakes...you can't buy entertainment like that on the street.

And add to that our new (when installed) touchscreen panels that were outdated the next near. Now we're having to canibalize other control panels cause the parts are unavailable, just to keep a unit up and running until the whole system can be replaced. Considering it's only about 6-7 years old they should have just kept the old system that we had running since the 70's.....that one never failed.

For those in the Ontario region - they are hoping to run approx 4 more CTP's before the summer mid summer. After that they will run one or two CTP's until the fall and then get back into the swing of things.

And it always seems to be someone's nephew who is getting the contract to do it too.
I work at an airport, and the contract for the reno had a clause stating that if it was finished ahead of time, there would eb a VERY large bonus involved. The contract came in six months early. How much crap do you think was done wrong for it to come in that far ahead?

Good luck to all of you on the tests!
