Thanks for the tips Smithers.

I'm sure I'll do fine, I just hate taking tests.

The policeprep book has helped a lot in the way I approach the questions on the APCAT and I have done well on the practice exams.

The ACT is more of the "not sure what to expect" feeling. Either way Saturday is the day.

Congrats! Like Islander said it's only 3-4 minutes. Bring cough lozenges and cheer on the remainder of those who are running with you!

Let us know how you make out!

Loadie,

I sent a message back to you, not sure if you got it or not. If you need a lift, call my cell, # is included in the msg and has voicemail, my landline doesn't have caller ID or voicemail.

And, I can't wait till my couch gets here... I'm missing PT today because of it!!!

No PM, I'll call you when I get in on Wednesday. I'll need a lift till my car arrives, if that's alright.

For you guys moving out to Edmonton from out of province, if you need any help regarding the city or whatever, you can let me know. I know you guys don't know me, but I'd be glad to offer any assistance if you need it. Congrats to all of you guys who have been hired recently.

The offer is greatly appreciated! Keep this attitude up and you'll fit in the fold!

Were already in contact with the rest of the course, they have also offered to assisst where and whenever needed! Every day I see what's going on with this Service I'm more and more impressed with it!

I'm also quite familiar with Edmonton as I was posted there in the Military 16 years ago. Also where I met and married my beautiful wife!

Thanks again!!

I've been around the police service a little bit in the past, and it's nothing short of a top notch professional organization. You're clearly going to love it.

Glad you know your way around the city and all that, that should make the move a lot easier for you.

Thanks for all the support.

The PARE is a tough test.

I passed with a decent time 3:52 it's higher then I was hoping for but I may have pushed myself to much on the first couple of laps, I was tired by the 5th and 6th, especially the hurdle into a front or back flop. It feels really good to get this far.

On to the interviews. :D

I got 3:32, I think I could have gotten better, but at least now I know that I can go a little harder on the laps.

Not sure who you were there ssfox, but congrats on passing! Here we go!

I was at HQ today doing a course and I popped into the GYM to try and see you PARE guys but it was about 9:30 and it was basically all done. I saw one or two guys in the gym and a woman at that time but didn't bother to come down as we only had 20 min break and I wanted to actually eat something. ;-)

Congrats on the PARE!
