Judging by others, it could be a bit of a wait from here on in. Looking forward to what the Psych Evaluation is all about. Tried not to do too much digging about it, don't want any preconceptions. Most of what I've noticed throughout the process with the RCMP is that it's always different from what you expect anyway.

Hi Silvaticus

Hopefully things are going great with you. I just want to know about time you waited for getting PEP results after the exam.

Many Thanks,

JS.

If you take a read through the comments past you'll notice there is no idea of how long these things take. Your interviewer would have told you not to expect anything for two weeks or more. You might get one phone call to clarify a few things, maybe it's in 2 weeks maybe it's in 2 months. It depends. I did my PEP in the beginning of May and got notified 6 weeks later. There is no norm. There is no difference in the process, that I can tell, between my PEP now and my PEP in 2014. So I wouldn't bet on the change in the application process helping you out here.

I think DepotWeb said something about troops having 24 because it made it easier to add people to a troop than to add troops in case they wanted to increase hiring, but I can't remember for what year that applied to.

The IDEAL is 32 per troop; homesickness, broken ankles, and stupid Cadet tricks, are just some reasons that cause fluctuations.

Applying from NL, Just wondering if anyone here is in the St. John's area and is currently in the Medical stage? If so, just looking for some rough time lines? (ie: how long to schedule appointments? how long for Health Services to get back to you?)

Thanks, Matt

Hey Matt,

I'm applying out of St. John's. I am currently in the Medical stage. Blood work has been done, I have my Psych appointment on Monday, Medical appointment is scheduled for July 7th and I have to go for an EKG as soon as I get the chance. I Heard back from Health services the day after my recruiter told me I was moving forward from PEP. Health services gave me the contacts but I had to schedule my appointments.

Right now we are scheduling for 34 troops with up to 32 in each.

We had moved to 24-person troops when our numbers dropped, but that was a few years ago.

I've answered this before. I only give troop dates for the following month so don't expect June's dates before May 1.

Any more than a month in advance and there is too great a likelihood of those dates changing and causing confusion.

If the Force runs out of money: none (and it has happened before).

Hello all,

So I had my PEP yesterday which lasted 4 hours. I must say that was an experience to undergo. I felt good coming out of the PEP as I didn't withhold any information and layed it all out there from the moment I filled out my questionnaire to meeting up with the examiner. Have some of you felt good about your PEP exam when you left? I read on previous pages that you will know if you pass or fail. I'm hoping that my feelings of feeling good after the PEP do come true.

Cheers.

Just curious, when force runs out of money, how they keep RCMP operational.

Hello All

Just playing the waiting game like everyone else on here. I do have a quick question about the phone review of the RMAQ. Do they just call you? or do they let you know on epost before the call?

I have been watching my phone like crazy :banghead:
