Yah I was lucky, one my friends applied only a month after me and only just got suitability contact! I know someone else that applied around May and still haven't been contacted... so still some are going slow.. timelines all over the place.

Changes for everyone. Mine was the same day, SC and troop offer voicemail. Didn’t officially accept till the next day as I missed the call.

Very true. But seems to be a trend of faster ones coming now. But that could stop tomorrow, who knows.

This is the trend I've seen on here as well. Usually applicants are contacted on the same day or within a week after SC.
But agree, it's different for everyone. I guess it mainly depends on availability and how busy they are.

I grew up on the shores of Lake Ontario and served with the CAF in Alberta. Dry cold for the win! Lol cold is cold, but being able to deal with it is key

I'm just used to the B.C wet cold so it will be interesting for S.K dry cold. See you guys soon.
It’s much more tolerable. The wind sucks, buts that’s it.
If you're not accustomed to our dry prairie air - especially if you're from the coast - I recommend picking up a good moisturizer. Cracked skin sucks.

Each cadet has their own room off a common hallway. The rooms are not completely private as the walls don't go all the way to the ceiling and they have a curtain rather than a door, but your space is not shared with anyone else.
