I never received an E-mail saying that the polygraph was under review, all I had was : "We will be in contact with you when we will have an update on your file"
Is anyone else waiting as long with no information what so ever ? PATIENCE

Did my Polygraph on October 28th, received an email from my FC on November 19th explaining that my polygraph was received and that a polygraph review has been assigned to it. Mind you, I explicitly told my FC to let me know when she receives my polygraph.

You should give your FC a call. Most of the people on here are so afraid to call/contact their FC. You guys/girls should embrace the fact that you could be a valuable asset to the RCMP. You want an update, call your FC and get one. He/she doesn't answer/call you back for weeks, contact recruiting and the powers that be will make sure you get an update.

Don't let yourself be played with. They are very busy people, but that doesn't justify a complete lack of communication between FC and applicant.

In the same boat, Polygraph was completed in August and nothing since. I emailed after a month, got the generic response that they would be in contact, but was never contacted. Emailed after 2 months and got no reply. At the 3month point a called and left a voicemail and still nothing, I have never been notified if my polygraph was received or reviewed. Definitely frustrating. What is the direct contact for recruiting which actually seems to get a response?

You should definitely call and figure out what's going on. It's not fair that your FC is neglecting to keep you updated. They have expectations from you, so it's only fair that you would have expectations from them to fulfill their duties.

The general RCMP recruiting line is 1-877-726-7472. Depending on what province you're applying from, there are also specific email addresses for each province that you can email to get in touch with recruiting. The link below has all the emails for each province.

Long time reader and first time poster from BC. I got the call yesterday for troop 29 - January 30th start, no conditions.

Anyone else in troop 29?

My RMAQ phone interview was on October 20th and Polygraph November 28th! Now not sure how long it would take until I hear back. Hope that helps....

with the recent backlog i'm just wondering approximately how much longer I have to wait, I know its case by case but it would help to know how long it took some of you guys that just been through the step.

This Tuesday will be 12 weeks. Was told 4-6 but obviously that didn't happen. Seen other recent posts that people have moved on after 11 weeeks so hopefully hear something this week.

hoytbowhunter wrote:Got THE call this morning!!! Conditional troop offer for troop 27! But I had to refuse because I'd rather wait to have my security clearance first, I have a wife and kid depending on me so I can't take the risk... But it's coming!!!

Anyoneknows how long it usually takes to have security clearance?

Sorry if answer seems obvious but why did you decline and wait first until SC is done?

Thanks
