I'm in NB and have been in final suitability for four weeks now. I'm not exactly sure if sc is going on at the same time or not.

I sent my selection package first week of June, got an email first of September to say it's been reviewed and good and that they'd be getting back to me for my RMAQ. Shortly after I receive another email back saying they can not locate my file from 2012's application which apparently is required for them to have on hand to advance me to my RMAQ now? Anyways we are just about mid November and to this day still can not find my file from 2012. Been on standby for RMAQ since June...

I'm only a couple weeks since I sent SP. Looks like I'll likely be waiting a while then  .

It took me about 10 weeks to get my RMAQ review, but then 7 months after the review to get a PEP date. So, yes, patience my friend ;).

Is this the last step or are there more to go afterwards? I can't find anything about it on the recruiting website.

Hi ApplicantM,

I am currently at the Final Suitability Review, I have been at this stage for 2 weeks. If I stand correctly, Final Suitability Review is the second last step. Once recommended after the Final Suitability Review, your Security Clearance gets initiated and a possible conditional troop offer is given.

How long have you been at Final Suitability Review?

I've only been in FSR for about a week.
Shame I was hoping it was a little more "final"
I guess there are still a couple more boxes to check off.
Oh well at least I will get to spend Christmas at home.

I submitted my SP in June, it took six weeks before it was opened, it took another six weeks before my RMAQ call, and now I've been waiting six weeks to find out if I'm moving on to the PEP. I contacted my file manager, and she just said she should be hearing something soon; at this rate, I don't think the new process will be any faster than the old one. :(

Yes, I call about every 3 weeks to follow up and each time they explain it will be a few more weeks as there has been an influx in applicants due to the new changes in May/June.

Hello,

When the security clearance form asks for "Supervisor/employer's name in full," does that include the middle name as well?

I saw in some previous threads that there are some benchmarks to pass while at Depot such as 5km run, 8km run, push ups etc. What happens to cadets who's pass PARE but for example are not able to complete 5km run?

You seem to be really worried about your cardio, based on other posts. Before you apply, get that in check. The pare is a mandatory bench mark. The 5km and 8km are not. You just need to complete them. That being said, if you can't run 5km before getting here, you're going to have a bad time.

Not exactly worried but rather curious because different post say different things about benchmarks and some posts suggest "best effort" for these benchmarks. I am currently working on my cardio and I am confident soon I will be ready to complete PARE which is required. I am not so confident about 5k and 8k :)
