RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT
Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT
Hi All,
I received an email from my current file coordinator that I will be assigned a new file coordinator in the coming weeks. Is this normal?

I've had it happen.
Then I had a new one when I passed a certain point too.

I had three coordinators, though I believe two is normal (my first moved onto a new position). It was explained to me at the beginning that after PEP a different coordinator takes over to handle the second half of your application.

My first file coordinator moved to another unit while I was waiting for my RMAQ to be reviewed. I've had the same coordinator ever since.

Hi all. ( I also posted the question to the ask a rcmp recruiter page, but if anybody has any input feel free to respond )
I have completed my RAMQ on the 31st of March, and was told by my case manager, that I was recommended to proceed. I am seeing some people have fast moving timelines that indicate they wait 1 month prior to completing their PEP after doing their RAMQ. I am coming up on 3 months and waiting. Is this a normal wait time for my PEP? Could it be the province (some move quicker than others) or could it be based on their package (people writing the RPAB or not having to due to having a degree)
Thanks for your input.

Good day
Same thing happened with me as well. My previous FC moved to new position and she mentioned in the email that new FC will take over my file.
Cheers,

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT
I Just received that illusive call this past week after 4 years with one deferral. I can't wait to begin this chapter.
Anyone else on Troop 13 starting Aug 15 2016?

Its a great feeling. I sat for a week staring at my phone, willing it to ring once I found out I had clearance and passed final review. I just had to wait on a redo on a blood test for my medical. so I "knew" i was getting an offer, just had to wait for it.

Congratulations! I am REALLY hoping for this call in the coming weeks. Final medical Wednesday, and my final suitability began 2 weeks ago. A buddy of mine is Troop 11 on Aug 1.

Be patient my friend. I have been waiting for almost 7 months now!! No news is good new.. it mean that you still in the process!!
7 months wait to get a phone interview regarding your RMAQ????? What part of Canada are you applying from? some applicants where getting their phone interview within weeks after submitting their package....I hope it doesn't take me 7 months to get RMAQ, i thought the whole process takes 12 months.
Hehe!! I had my RMAQ call at the begining of december. But I'm waiting since then.. I began the process 13 month ago so be patient my friend.

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT
I apologize in advance if this has already been answered.
When you apply on the Federal site for the first time, does it ask for a resume? I just finished applying, and never did it ask for a resume or cover letter. Just seemed strange..
Thanks.
