Harder in a way.
Once you complete the block and submit, no going back if you realize that you made a mistake.

Just my oppinion.
... For the Grammar Police, get off my back, I wasn't born here.

I just wrote it mid-Feb. It's obviously a tough test, but it's got more pros than cons.
Shorter in time, find out your results right after and they take the memory portion of the test out.
Of course the big con is you can't go back once you've submitted your section, and your time limit is plays a big factor when answering the 10 question's in the section. From what the recruiter was saying, looks like they are phasing out written tests for the e-RPAB.

Thanks smart-a**. Are there still 32 in a Troop? Are those numbers changing any time soon?

First Time posting on here, have been a long time reader.
Just wondering if anyone would be able to give me an idea of where most new recruits are being sent? When I attended the career presentation I was told majority of new recruits are being sent to BC and Alberta, that was last March, is that still true today? Best of luck to all recruits going through the process, hope to see some of you at Depot!!!! :D

The current 2015/16 troop schedule calls for 30 troops with 32 cadets in each (for a total of 960 cadets).

The RCMP is constantly evaluating and adapting to the environment. Numbers may change - up or down - as necessary.

The vast majority go west (B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan then Manitoba). A much smaller group goes to Atlantic Canada. A smattering go to the territories and hardly any go straight into federal policing in Ontario or Quebec.

You'll notice that these are basically in order of the number of general duty members in each division.

Hello all!

Been reading quite a lot on here lately, and figured I'd join in!

I was suppose to go to the career presentation today, but of all things to go wrong, I got stuck in the elevator in my apartment building for 2 hours. Pretty frustrating, considering I don't know when they will be back, as I live in northern Alberta (Fort McMurray). Here's to hoping they come back soon, as I don't really want to make the trek to Edmonton..

On a side note, I couldn't get thru to anyone today since it was passed business hours and my local detachment couldn't patch me thru to anyone who knew anything about the event. So should I be calling someone to explain my absence?

Thanks all, and congrats to everyone who's made it all the way to depot!
