Does anyone know if you get told your results for the Psyc/sigma. Had mine on the 7th of March and got the email today that my BGI has started.

Thanks!

Mine was pretty relaxed. We reviewed my financial records, chatted about next stages, clarified any issues with the background investigation, and I had an opportunity to ask any questions that I might have about the OPP or policing. It didn't require any preparation beyond gathering the information they request during the background investigation. Other than that, it just felt like two people getting to know each other. Really nothing to stress over if you've been 100% honest throughout.

Good luck

I'm working on my application. I am just 40 and my work experience as a teenager (summer jobs) and into my 20's before I finished College is extensive. I had a lot of part time work here and there. Some of these places no longer exist and supervisors are gone or deceased.
Does anyone have experience with holes in their employment history page?
I have e-mailed the application question address but haven't heard a response in a few days.
Curious what others have done as I wait for a response.
The last 15 years is my current full time job.
Thanks

I don’t know about the OPP specifically, but it looks like most services want your employment history from either the past 10 years, or since you were 16, whichever is shorter. So in your case, having steadily held a job for the past 15 years should be fine.
This is incorrect. You will want to make sure you include EVERY position you have held. The application states (and Recruitment has reiterated this) that you must include every position from the beginning of your work history. You should include as much information as you can, and don’t only list your current position even if it’s been 15 years. If you only know approximate dates this is still better than purposefully omitting the earlier positions from your application. Best of luck!
OPP
Jan 8 - Applied
Jan 11 - File # assigned
April 2 - LFI Invitation
May 7 - LFI

My bad, didn’t mean to give incorrect info. Am I thinking of addresses?

I was just wondering how long some of you have waited after completing the LFI before hearing back? Thanks.

I waited about a week and a half before I heard back. How long is the wait usually before hearing back from the psych/sigma?

Cosmo, in my case I was notified in just under a week. However, no one can provide you with a definitive answer. I've seen timelines on this forum where people were told from anywhere between one to two days, to a few weeks. No news is good news!

As for your question MissA2189, again based on a number of posts I've read on this forum, and through talking with friends that have been successful in the process. You aren't told if you passed the Psych/Sigma, your file just progresses to backgrounds so it is assumed. Again, there is no way of knowing how long that would take as the BGI's can only work so fast. I guess what you can do is take a look at timelines similar to yours so you can gauge how long it is you'll be waiting.

Hope this helps both of you & good luck in the process!
