I know OPP requires us to list all the jobs we have had in the application. Do we need to list all the jobs in the resume as well?
On my resume I focused on the most relevant positions I held and other skills such languages, volunteer experience and extra curricular courses. I listed every position on the specific part of the application. Otherwise my resume would have about 6 pages and that would look very sloppy.
Thanks Matty. My resume is around 2.5 pages right now. I personally would like it to be 2 pages but then would lose whitespace in it so hopefully it works out.

On a separate note, I found out that if you have ATS PREP valid, you do not need to pass the PASS test after application.

Has anyone applied this month?

Hello everyone,

This is my first post on the thread! Here is some information on my process:

Applied : August 12, 2019
File number received : August 21, 2019
PBQ: September 12, 2019
LFI: September 25, 2019
LFI results: September 26, 2019
Background investigation stage: October 2, 2019
Psych/sigma test : October 22, 2019

I was wondering if anyone else has been waiting for news since October/November? I have not had any news since my psych test but I’m hoping no news is good news for now..

Thanks!

Hey everyone!

I received an invite to a PBQ coming up on the 16th of this month (London, ON) and was just wondering if anyone else on here is also doing one that day?

To the ones that already did their LFI, how did you feel after it was over? I did mine yesterday and I felt pretty good afterwards. There were questions that in hindsight I could have answered better, but overall I think I did well.
Now starts the patience/anxiety game, waiting for the results.

Nope, still no news on my end. How about you? Hoping your LFI results were positive!

They were! I got the e-mail yesterday, 4 days after the interview. I was a little worried because most people get the results within a day or two, but everything worked out. Now, on to psych/sigma.

Congratulations! That's fantastic news :D! I got the email yesterday that I'm moving forward in the process and so I'm just waiting out now for a call with specific date/time information.

That's great news Joseph! Congratulations!
One of the first things the Sargeant that interviewed me said was that I should be happy to have gotten an interview because out of all the applications they receive only about half of them get to the PBQ and only half of those make it to the interview.

I need help with something that came up on the Policeprep SIGMA sample test. I could not figure out an easy way of answering the "Which of the statements is the most likely description of the suspect?" type question. Is there something I'm missing? Can someone explain it to me?

Typically with these questions you are going to want to look at commonalities between the statements. For example, if the same descriptive fact is mentioned in 3/4 statements, then that 3 facts in common are likely correct. You want to apply that methodology to the entire series of statements.

I hope that made sense!

So getting the file number means that your application has been only deemed complete nothing else right?
