For me it took a while. I think posted the same question here few pages back (more than 1 month for sure).

Hope that helps you

Hi all,

I just had my LFI/ECI today and I am seriously so nervous. I have never applied for a constable position prior to this! I don't know if my interview went well or poorly, which is concerning. I did ramble a bit. I found myself losing my train of thought somewhat.

I really hope I get into the OPP, specifically, so I am just on pins and needles.

Good luck to all in the process and congrats to all that made it!

Don't think too much into it. If it gives you any comfort, Police departments are always in desperate need for female applicants.

Good Luck.

Thanks! It is hard NOT to think too much into it (not that thinking about it will change the outcome)!

I have been with a police-based VSU for about 4 years now. I do know women (and men) from my unit who have applied several times before being hired. My age though, being 35, feels like it is working against me. Physically I am in the best shape I have ever been in, but cardio ability does decline with age. . .time keeps on ticking!

Anyhow, I am here looking to be in the April class at OPC. Fingers crossed!

Hey guys, hope everyone’s doing well in their process. Has anyone just recently applied specifically in November and has been emailed to come in for for their PBQ/LFI? I’ve been assigned my file # just wondering how long does it usually take for OPP to send out an invite

Hey Matty, wow you got it that quick! Guess I’d just have to keep waiting. Good luck on the rest of the process

Hello all,

I am a Canadian citizen currently serving as a Constable in the UK.

I plan to apply for the OPP as soon as I get my credential assessment back.

Can anyone give me an insight into the PBQ and LFI?

Also, I can swap my UK driving licence for a UK one however do not want to do this until I move permanently.

I am heading to Ontario to complete ATS testing and not pinning all my hopes on the OPP. As I have no ties/commitments to any particular area in Ontario I am willing to locate to any detachment required, would this make me a more 'attractive' applicant or does it not matter?

Any comments/tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks

I wish I could help pjm3586! I don’t feel I have a lot of insight into the process as of yet.

Anyone else waiting to hear back from OPP? Still nothing from my LFI on Dec. 11th with a weekend in between. If I don’t make the cut I just gotta keep improving myself, I know.

I was practicing the PREP at Mohawk last Saturday and heard there is big news coming out about the OACP selection process. I wonder what role ATS will play? Check the link: https://twitter.com/policefit/status/12 ... 3619879937

Hi Timmus97

I was wondering if your application was in Final Review and if so what did it entail? Do you receive letter/email about passing this stage? Maybe someone else who recently got the call can comment as well.

Any information/comment would be greatly appreciated.
