Hello everyone What material did you use to study for the SIGMA?
I used the free resources online through police prep. The sigma and the pati. :) You can purchase practice materials... all depends on how strong you are with that stuff.

Thats what I am using right now as well as a book. I’ve checked all over the net for more free online resources have not found anything else. I might more study material the better. Thanks.

That's awesome! I'm no mathlete and it was way easier then the pati. I focused on studying spelling (picking out the mistakes) and the mapping. The mapping can suck up a lot of your time. Best of luck!!

How long did you guys receive a call back after initially applying? I’d assume general timeline is 2 weeks?

You should receive your file number within 2 weeks. But as far as a call back for the PBQ or interview there is no set time limit. I waited 2 months. I would try to scroll through this feed and see what timing others had to give you a better idea :)

Easier than the Pati, good to know. Would you say reading books was the best method to study for the spelling? Mapping do take the most amount but it’ll be alright. Thank you very much

There was some grammar corrections, minor spelling mistakes and then long obscure words (if memory serves me right) that no one knows but you try and make an educated guess.

Easier than the Pati, good to know. Would you say reading books was the best method to study for the spelling? Mapping do take the most amount but it’ll be alright. Thank you very much

Hey guys I’m just wondering how long the average call back time is after applying? I only have some college education and a little anxious..
Thanks

More to it than just that though, age, work experience, life experience, volunteer experience / community engagement and then how you perform during the interviews

Hi everyone,

I am new and this is my first post. I am grateful for this community already.

This is my timeline
Submitted application: December 14th 2019
File Number: December 16th 2019
PBQ : January 29th
LFI: March 10th (pending)

Just wondering when the April class will begin? Is there a chance to make it in that class?
TIA!
