Hey guys, also another question if anyone has an idea or the answer, at Rigaud, once we complete our 14 day isolation, will we have access to the weight rooms and gym? Since we’ll all be quarantined up together?
I spoke to a former instructor this afternoon and they stated that they think the gym is closed at Rigaud, but couldn’t confirm %100

It’s closed - make sure you pack any fitness items you wish to use while there.. let your imagination go wild because when I was there people brought their own bench and bar

Lowkey excited for the invites going out in early March. My psych expires on July 20, 2021, which is coming up soon. I will have my fingers crossed for early March.

Good luck to everyone else waiting as well.

Question for anyone that may know, just got the email for my psychological assessment exam. I’m entering with veteran status, do I need to notify them of that. Was honourably released with medical due to broken feet, no psychological issues were noted upon my release. Also suffered a concussion, will this impair my ability in the assessment?

Did you apply through the veteran recruitment team and is your applicant number "VET##" because if it is not, then they haven't place you into the Veteran recruitment path.

As for the assessment, a previous concussion wouldn't be noted on psyc assessment, it may be a medical concern though.

I was in the same position- CF veteran. The psychological testing is is simply about your mental state. Be honest and you’ll do fine. When you have your medical, the feet/concussion will have to be mentioned as it will likely come up in questioning. You will likely have zero problems with either, due to the fact that the CF must make sure you’re in a reasonable state of physical health before cutting you loose.

The psych assessment is simply you answering questions honestly.
Good luck

They know I'm a veteran, but have not heard of this vet numbering system. I do get emails from the veteran recruitment team though.

Just a heads up for people hoping to apply;

Just got notification that a bilingual posting will be going up within the coming weeks and that it will not be open long.
