Anyone hear back from their SIGMA results? I wrote mine along with the Pysch tests July 14th and haven't heard anything but just received an email this morning to videotape my 20 M shuttle run so I would think that would indicate I'm still in the hiring pool?
Got the same message. Do you need to do the video if you had previously passed the PASS test with OPP?

I just got the email for the shuttle run as well. I wrote my SIGMA on July 8 and still haven't heard anything.

Did everyone who has an open file with the OPP applicants get asked to submit a recorded shuttle run?
And has anyone tried uploading their video? I can’t seem to get it to upload to the wetransfer site.
OPP application
March 3 application sent
March 26 file created
April 14 LFI invite
April 30 LFI
May 8 BGI commenced
June 3 Psych test
June 3 Home interview
June 17 BGI completed

I'm in the same boat. I have to video record myself doing the 20 meter shuttle and send it in. Quick question though, do you guys just stop and level 7, or go as long as you can. Reading the email it seems like I should just demonstrate to level 7. But I've seen it done in the past where you go for as long as you can.

After a few tries it finally uploaded. I have received notice that it had been downloaded by them as well.
I completed to level 9. Not a best run, but went past level 7 to show that I did not struggle to get there.

I sent mine last night and received a confirmation email this morning stating OPP downloaded my video. Reached level 10, almost passed out lol. We probably won't hear anything until mid August.
Good luck to everyone on here, hope everyone gets a job offer

Anybody know how much weight (if any) an internal referral from a A/Sgt carries for an application?

Depends on the Sergeant. At the end of the day, the referral will not get you a spot over someone else if you're not as qualified.

Hello,

Mind if I ask how you prepared for the Sigma and what is the best advice you can give to do well on it?

Thanks in advance

Hello DChris,

I was wondering if you would be able to tell me what you did to prepare for the Sigma and what is most important to do well on the test.

Thank you.

There are a few practice tests you can do on policeprep.com I think. That's really all I did.

Best of luck

Thank You. Also what website or program did you use for the beep test, do you have a link? The ones I am finding on youtube are not identical to the beep test used during the prep test.

If you go on the OPP careers page you can find an audio file link for the beep test. If I'm not mistaken it is where the FAQ's are.
