Christmas Pay

Postby chamchsu » Mon Dec 23, 2013 9:24 am

Hey everyone,
Just wondering if anyone knows when the RCMP pay schedules for Christmas Day will be deposited?

Thanks!

Wow... I've seen some odd first posts on here, but this one is right up there on the oddness meter. :dubious:

No "Hello, I've been a long time lurker (since Sep 12, 2006)" post... :ponder:

Does the RCMP not have a Payroll Department? Could you not simply figure out for yourself where you are in your pay cycle? If you get paid biweekly and you are getting paid this week (let's say your pay gets deposited on a Friday), I would imagine that Christmas pay would get deposited on the January 10... If you got paid last week, then January 3 would be the deposit date.

Hold on... is this that hidden camera show... :smirk:

Some outfits change paydays at Christmas due to lack of staff in the office etc. Our payday often is a few days earlier than usual.

Humm, interesting... Ours doesn't change, it's always every other Friday, but sometimes they do "forecast" your hours to submit the Payroll early for the folks at ADP...

But then we are a World Wide organization, so it could be different for others. 8)

It depends on when your overtime is approved locally, submitted for payment to Division, then forwarded to Ottawa and finally dumped into your account.

Kind of a long time being a member on here, let alone in the saddle, and THEN asking such a question, yes?
