RCMP Auxiliary program on hold

Postby chrisr » Wed Aug 07, 2013 11:55 pm

Hello all,

I am new to this form and I tried to find an answer to this but came up empty. Does anyone know why the RCMP Auxiliary program is on hold (In Saskatchewan for sure anyway) and when it may start up again?

thanks in advance

I am from BC and haven't heard anything.
What do you mean by "on hold"? - are existing members being asked to stay home?

Nope the active members are still working. From my understanding they are not having anymore training courses or excepting auxiliary until maybe April 2014. Just wondering if anyone knows why? I had herd it may be because of a study they are doing about having un-armed members in the field. This seems strange to me if other provinces are still going a head. Unless they are looking at changing the course in Saskatchewan.
