RCMP moving question

Postby mrs.k » Tue Jun 12, 2012 2:49 pm

Hi, I wonder if anyone can give me an answer to this? If an RCMP member buys a house with a common law spouse, and then they split up and she moves to another town while he still has the house but her name is still on the house, will the RCMP only pay for half of the real estate costs, etc. when the member is transferred and the house is sold. Thanks to anyone who might know something about this.

I would say the 'easy' route would be for the 'former' home owner to have the current owner buy them out. Then no problem.

Mrs. K , no disrespect, but I feel you should consult an attorney, instead of us.

Well you're not really allowed to market yourself here without paying for advertising. Good attempt though.
