So, with me and and my wife being coppers, does that mean we're likely to have a 120 to 150% chance of divorce??? :ponder:

No, I think the odds are on homicide.

Nah, I don't think so, Mrs. No Medal isn't really into threesomes.

Unless the threesome involves dead hookers.

That's funny. For us its the specialty units that are better for the family. Mon-Fri days, you are truly "off" when not at work, you can live where you want and be totally anonymous in your personal life. Being in GD means always being on-call to a certain extent, always being identified as a police officer in uniform or not, on-duty or not. Much more difficult to take time off since you're actually needed at your job, much more stress under the weight of call volume whereas special sections are proactive and only bite off as much as they can chew. I'm sure there are exceptions, but most people I've talked to feel this way.

Rarely to I meet a boss that isn't stressed all day and rarely do I meet a CFL that is stressed all day.

I've always thought policing was one of the more incestous occupations going around..I've seen many a relationship come undone because some police choose to ignore the "don't screw the crew' rule.
