Unless you've been a cop inside and outside the RCMP it would be difficult for anyone to provide a meaningful answer. Some issues are exclusive to the RCMP though. Probably the biggest one is the potential to be posted a long way from where you grew up without a lot of opportunity to return if you wanted to. That can cause stress in the home.
