RCMP marriage to a DND member
Throwing this out there hoping someone may have some experience with this topic. I'm a member of the RCMP and I recently married a member of the air force. We live in two different provinces and our employers will not budge on accommodating either of us. I am being told that I do not qualify for a compassionate transfer to be with my spouse. Any idea or does anyone know any members of either organization who have come across this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Re: RCMP marriage to a DND member
I'm wondering about this as well. My spouse is RCN in Esquimalt and I'm in the process of releasing from the CAF and applying for the RCMP in NCR. I've heard that BC is all hands on deck for the RCMP but I was wondering if I would be able to ask for a posting to the island?

Have either of you contacted NPF yet?
I realize that they are a one-armed window-washer, hanging on for dear life to the one-side-broken scaffolding (my apologies if I have offended any amputee!), but, at least you can say you asked.

There was a member of "F" Div (SK), who WAS CF, along with his better. He patched-over, and got posted close to her, but found the stupidity as bad or worse with spurs, so he got out his box-cutter, then his sewing kit, and now he is back in CADPAT.

That's a good idea. I'll do that. I didn't want to rock the boat too early on because I know the first thing you agree to is to be posted anywhere, and I'm on board with that.
If the stupidity is issuing Ptes DUIs instead of being responsible for said Ptes, it can only be an improvement.
