TIPS for Prep.

Hello everyone!
I was just wondering if anyone has some good workouts for the Prep test. I mean for the Pursuit one. I did a search but most of it was for the beep test. I am fine in my beep test (last time I ran to stage 11) I just would like some tips for the Pursuit part. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

What ever you do make sure that leg work outs (specifically quads/hamstrings), are included. The dummy drag is what really washes alot of people out during the pursuit/restraint circuit. The main culprit is that their quads/hamstrings are lacking in strength and/or endurance.

Legs is the key for sure. Lots of people get a major build up of lactic acid once they get to the dummy drag. Work on legs for sure. I did lots of running and leg work before doing the Prep.

Best advice.......

don't workout for at least 2 years before. THen show up and beat everone elses time. WOrks like a charm

I used a BEEP cd to train mentally and physically. It works great. I still use it to gauge my fitness. If anyone wants one, PM me.

Is there a link to it ? Someone told me it's on Limewire but I couldn't find it.

That and a guy I worked with got arrested for distibuting child porn and the news release said he was using Kazaa to do it so I went straight home and took Limewire and Kazaa off of my computer. I refuse to support any kind of online service that doesn't invest more time and effort into ensuring that their service is not being misused, especially when it involves exploiting children.

To be honest I think I may have posted it before, but I will wait and see if anyone wants it first.

Do compound movements that require multiple muscles in a coordinated effort like squats, deadlifts, cleans, etc... Consider some form of cicruit training as well to get you used to anaerobic work while your aerobic system is depleted. And of course, lots of running.
