Playing sports

Postby soorma » Mon Mar 02, 2015 9:50 pm

Hi,

Anyone play sports alone to remain fit? Is that good enough rather than doing things like Hiit? I was thinking maybe playing sports 2-3 times a week for about 40 minutes each time (basketball, volleyball, etc.)

You will also find playing sports will help you later on in your career.

Itll help with health. But also decompress.

But sports alone wont keep you in shape. You need a broad range of activity.

It would also depend on what sport you are playing. A low level softball league won't do much. High intensity wrestling/grappling would be better.

My sport is very much a strength based sport with some conditioning thrown into the mix.
K division.

I would think so and if you add that to some weight training and popat/pare practice you should be set.
