I've heard from multiple sources that using suspenders to support your duty belt will take a large amount of pressure off of your lower back...I haven't tried it, as I don't carry a heavy kit on my own duty belt...maybe some of the vets can confirm this theory?

Ya, it definitely does. It takes all the weight that would be on your hips, and spreads it out over your shoulders. I highly recommend using them. I've used them since I started almost 10 years ago.

Good to know! I'll definitely look into this if/when I'm issued my full kit :thumbsup:

How about routine visits to a chiropractor? Any one take advantage of the employee benefits?
