1300 stairs (each way) ***while wearing weighted vest w/12.5lbs weight***

Beastly. Was this a set of stairs, or stair climber?

Today's workout

Deadlifts, 5X405,1X455
Rack pulls from knee level 3X405,3X455,1X475,1X500, 2X0X525
Deadlifts with chains: 5X365, added more chains, 2X1X405

Squats (Safety bar) 3X135,3X225,3X315, 0X365,1X315,1X335, 1X365 (The way this bar is, causes me to keep it higher on my shoulders, as well, it pulls forward a bit more)
Image
Farmers walks: 30'X260 (estimate on the length. Was not at the regular training facility)
BB Rows: 5X185 - this was more to test the shoulder as to what I could do, didn't seem to have any problems but was more focused on the squats.

Tried to do log presses, shoulder did not like it, even with just 135. I did one rep and knew it would be a bad idea to continue. Looks like I am starting to get smarter in my old age.

That looks awful....but I'll do it. ;)

I'm averaging 9:54 my last five 1.5 mile runs, and I just hit a new PB on Dumbell Bench and Deadlift. Life's good :boxer:

CO, don't forgot the laundry.
It's an essential part of the GTL workout.

Friday
Deadlifts 6X1X405, 3X1X455
Deadlift of a box (13" bar height): 1X475,1X500
Rows: 5X225,5X235,4X245

Saturday
Event training

Log Press: Worked up to 165 log, tried for more and shoulder wanted nothing to do it with it.
Circus Dumbbell: tried with my off hand, felt weird and awkward. Didn't get it to go.
Farmers deadlifts: 10X190lbs/hand, 5X280,1X330/hand
Yoke Carry: 400 (I think)X40feet, 560X40feet.
Arm over arm truck pull: 50feet, 50feet with ebreak on. Jackass at the wheel was mad at me for my comments after he missed the 330farmers. Instead of taking his foot off the break, he left it in drive. I couldn't understand why I wasn't able to pull it. Bloody wanker.

Thursday (Aug 15th):

I slept, maybe, 2 hours after a night shift due to construction/plumbing work being done at my apartment. I had very little energy so I didn't have the ambition for much.

Insanity (The Asylum) "Relief" - 23 minutes.

Friday (Aug 16th):

More plumbing saws/drills....slept like crap yet again.

10 km bike ride.

Sunday (Aug 18th):

"Helen"
3 rounds for time:

400m sprint
12 KB Swings (50lb KB)
12 assisted pullups

Time: 14 minutes. Terrible time, but I reduced my assistance and upped the poundage on the KB since last time I did this.

Hmm...now why do these stairs look familiar...

Here's a little challenge for you all.
1.5 bw deadlift
1 bw bench
.75 bw clean

Load 1 bar for each exercice with the appropriate weight then start the timer . you got to do 10 then 9 the 8 ..etc until you reach 1 reps on each exercice. No strap no belt no wrap.

Ex if you weight 225 pound then you have to put 337 on the dead 225 on the bench and 169 on the clean.

Have fun
start: july 2012
Accepted: june 2013
Troops: 15 september 15 ..march 10

Effed my bike workout Sunday due to a wedding (mal)function the night before. Attempted though, got about 5k into it and felt like puking.
10k altogether and not timed. Felt guilty and ashamed the rest of the day.

Yesterday:
Run 10k = 59:51
Avg. pace 5:59
Weather was sunny, muggy, and +32C

Today:
Swim 1500m = 45:30
(one of my best swim work-outs in a while, nice and even, and didn't feel gassed at the end)
