Re: Regular Fitness
Had a few nice outdoor runs, and treadmill runs this week. Also upper and lower body w/o's with and without weights.
Busy week and weekend so not a lot of time to post everything.
Have a great weekend all! Even though it looks like rain everyday.

Re: Regular Fitness
Today/Tuesday (July 9th):
"Barbara" - 5 rounds for time:
20 pullups
30 pushups
40 situps
50 squats
Rest 3 minutes after each round. I don't have any idea how people are recording times of under 30 minutes for this workout. The rest times are 15 minutes alone. So that leaves like 15 minutes for all 5 rounds. I was LUCKY to get the rounds done in 5 minutes using assisted pullups and I was dying. I even shortened the rest periods to 1 and 2 minutes.
Total time: 38 minutes.
Gonna bike at work for cardio to loosen up.

Re: Regular Fitness
Today was my first ever strongman event. Didn't end the way I wanted to but had a lot of fun.
Frame carry - 500lbs for 150 feet with 1 turn in the middle. 30 seconds which was good enough for 2nd place
Log press. 220lbs: 2 reps. I gassed way to quickly on this one.
Super yoke 660lbs: made it 40 feet. This was a pr
Atlas stone to platform 270lbs: 4 reps. When bring it down on the forth rep, I got to close and it smashed me in the face. Pissed me off as I had another couple of reps left in the tank.
Overall, I had a lot of fun and will be doing another in September I think.
Off to the emergency dentist now to see if I can eat this week.

Thank you. I finished 5/9. But I also learned that I need to toughen up mentally. I think my mind finished a couple of events before my body was willing.

1500m row

15 side crunches (each side)
