Reason I ask is I'm taking CellTech Hardcore and the general directions for consumption is post-workout. A colleague of mine suggested to take it pre-workout though, finish off the tub and move on to Purple K as well. As such, CellTech Hardcore tends to have a little bit more sugar than it really needs. I know different people have different reactions to supplements so I was curious on the general consensus.

I take 2 pills 30 minutes prior to my workout and 1 within 45 minutes post workout. They recommend 2 pre and 2 post, but I found that I had the same results with only one after.
Some people also take 1 or 2 on 'non training days' but I did not and had some decent gain. Hope it helps ;)

I am using it for the second time and thinks its great.

I take 2 about 30 minutes prior to working out and 2 about 30 minutes after.

I take 2 first thing when I get up on non training days.

A friend of mine owns a nutrition franchise in Mississauga and he was one of the first people in Canada to carry Purple K. Ive been on it a few times and I think it was instrumental to helping me recover from a few at-work car collisions.

He gives large discounts to LEO's.

Whoah... event he muscle milk is cheaper. I pay about $52. for a tub from GNC and that's with the Gold Card. I'll have to make the drive down there from Waterloo.

Thanks for the link TorontoCopper.

You shouldn't pay more than $40 for MM anywhere.

GNC is the biggest rip off ever.

Lol... I'm slowly finding that out.. although the options out here in Waterloo are pretty slim. :) Those savings would still make it worth the drive if I picked up a few tubs at a time.

Little off the Purple K topic but I mentioned in one of my other posts that I use Phosphagen when I'm looking to put size on. Never had any results with anything else prior to using it and I had absolutely ridiculous gains over a 6 week cycle. Just a thought if those 'Creatine non-responders' were looking for something to try for gains I'd throw it in here as well.

I am bumping an old topic, but I just started on the Purple K about a week ago, and love it so far. I do CrossFit, and am certainly noticing my ability to complete the workouts (workouts like todays for example which involves walking lunges, pull-ups, and sit-ups) easier. I hated taking creatine powder because I didn't like how it changed the flavour of the water. I'm a wuss when it comes to stuff like that. The fact that Purple K is pills is awesome for me.

Now if only I could find some protein powder in pull form, I'd be in heaven.
