It appears that you have a lot of issues and thoughts to bring up. It's not necessarily bad, but you might need to collect them and write them in a more coherent manner if anyone is going to understand your perspective.

I'm only reading the edited version, but it looks to me like Highbrowns is "okay" with pretty much everything.

Don't know if I'll be re-visiting this families forum though. Seems kinda boring.

Well, I was trying to suggest a forum for family members of RCMP, but apparently the poohbahs and overlords think that I did not accuratley compose my post. Fair enough. No one wants to open up that can of worms. Family and the RCMP.

Your post was a rambling run-on paragraph.

I don't want my wife talking to other officer's wives.

That's how things like bingo nights and knitting clubs got started. I won't allow my wife to be involved in such foolishness, as it takes time away from her job of running my house and raising my kids.

But didn't it lead to some pretty hot swinging? Or was that just at Hedo III?

Possibly. But I prefer a quieter life now. My pipe, slippers and glass of scotch are ready for me when I get home. A few minutes to ask the kids about school and to instruct the little lady on her duties for the following day and I'm ready for my dinner, after which I peruse the news channels while wifey does dishes, cleans up and puts the kids to bed. Pure marital bliss.
