I've had the PD 35 for a few months now and it's put everybody else's lights to shame at my division. Also, fenix tactical has a custom leather holster for it if you don't like the look/function of the nylon one it comes with.

OMFG, the Fenix PD 35 is AmAzInG!

I picked up one this past Friday from an Outdoor store on Lakeshore in Port Credit for $75.00...

Man this thing is BRIGHT, and it fits perfectly in the Kydex Holster that ATR's friend made for me for my TK 21!

Thanks for the suggestion scubachickie.

Any pics of your kydex holster? Can it be mounted on a duty belt?

Can it be mounted on a duty belt? It sure can!

I've had this holster for over one year now, the only change I made to it was adding some Loctite to the threads of the Chicago Bolts since I had them come loose on me. The attachment on the back is called "tek lok", it's awesome and can be added to anything you want to clip securely to your duty belt, they come in 2 sizes, the small is perfectly fine for this application.

No problem... If you Google "james mcgowan knives" you might just find the source of my holster creator... ;)

Heh, that's where I just got my PD35, and LD12 before that. I too only have positive things to say.

The reason I opted for it is because it offers the best lumens:size ratio of all their lights. IMO their larger lights are too big and cumbersome to be carrying around all day, and their smaller lights just aren't bright enough. It only has 1h15min run time on Turbo, 850 lumens, but I don't need to have it running for much more than 1 minute intervals at a time, so the battery hasn't required any recharging. No coronated bezel, but the 850 lumen strobe is more useful in a self defense capacity anyway.

The fabric holster it comes with fits snugly onto my duty belt, doesn't slide at all (fabric on fabric, a leather belt may be different).

I was there again today with a couple friends, one of them picking up their new PD35, along with the same fancy charger as I got myself. 8)
