Mick and Josh at Strider will not disclose how they do their blade or handle finishes. Its a copywritten secret. Just like their digi-camo finishes.

Save up for a Strider. And in the meantime get an Emerson to tide you over. One or two knives from the top few producers makes for a fine collection.

If anybody needs to spend some money, Warriors and Wonders in Vancouver is having a sale- ie Orange Spyderco Military- $114, Waved Endura $55, those are some good work knives.

You punks. I posted about the warriors and wonders deal a few days ago! I already ordered up my new ESEE. That strider blade makes me almost rethink my decision (maybe next time). Although I'm not a huge fan of fixed blades coming with no grip. When did this become the cool new thing?

I'm looking towards my next purchase and I think I'd like a boot knife. I've never owned/worn one. I'm assuming a small fixed blade is the way to go. This one looks nice, ESEE RC3PM-MB-DT. What do you think ATR? Good knife for the ankle, or would you recommend something else?

I have to admit, it was on the front page of WW and caught my eye. Took a quick look around at some other options but didn't find much else that appealed to me.

Little big for the ankle.
I really like my free 5.11 tactical boot knife I got with my boots. Fits well in the hand, very light, comes with an ankle strap. Look into it....new they are about $49.99 on the website.

This finally came last night while I was at work. Waiting for me on the table.

Emerson 98 Raven. Lightest EKI I have ever felt.

Its all there was for trade. You'd know that they are hard to come by now.

I want an SOCFK now. Both A and B.

Just messing with ya. The Raven is a classic, and extremely hard to find (for those of you who have no idea what we're talking about).

And I'm right there with you on the SOCFK. Those are just dead sexy.
