And forget an airbox....Get a supercharger :smirk:

$6000 isn't in this woman's budget right now! Actually the members of my club who have replaced the air box with the SRT one are seeing good HP gains...so I'll play around with that for a bit....my current list of mods and wish list mods are as follows:

Current Mods:
20 Inch AR Torq Thrust Rims with 275/40/20 Hankook HP tires
Custom Painted engine cover
Resonator Delete
SRT Front Chin Spoiler

Wish List Mods:
Oil catch can
Flowmaster 40 Mufflers and Catback (depending on how much my exhaust repair on my truck costs - this may happen before it goes to bed for the winter.....hubby just shakes his head on this one LOL)
SRT Air box w/performance filter (then run venting down to the chin spoiler)
Embroidered Head Rests and Arm Rest (back seat)
Lowered (1 inch) suspension - probably get the SRT springs and shocks
Strut Tower Brace
180 thermostat
***this list just keeps getting longer*** :smirk:

You know what's a surprisingly sharp looking vehicle, is this year's Hyundai Sonata. That company has come a long way!

They do look sharp... and that's about it...
I've owned two Hyundai's and I'll doubt it if I'll ever buy another...

They are quite economically priced, considering the options that they have.
I just don't feel that the craftsmanship and quality is there of a solid north american made car or of their japanese competitors...

The only other one that I could see me trying would be their Genesis (sedan, not coupe)...

Sure are...

And for the price you pay for one, they become even more attractive...

:aye:

We have them in our rental fleet, the locations are always asking for them... So far the only reason I've towed them are for non mechanical related incidents. And yes, they've come a long way since the Pony!
