OK I'm splitting hairs, I know, but I had to check this out. :((
I counted the beats and timed it and I get around 100 bpm. Why did I do that? Because if it is 120 bpm then it would be march tempo. Who wouldn't like to do drill to Ride of the Valkyries? 88)

I have a friend that is an LEO in a smaller town he was telling me that a few months after his probation was over he got a call of an armed robbery so he cranked his IPOD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DgCVmUYrSfQ flipped his lights and sirens on and was flying, unfortunately he had his music so loud that he missed the stand down. He says he never turns his music up anymore.

You actually counted it out? I just googled it, but Google was wrong.

Nice. No music but my girlfriend got me a t-shirt that I sometimes wear under my uniform.

In my force in the UK we have the radio in all our vehicles.

One force I worked for a few years ago were renowned on the Traffic Dept to play Ride of the Valkyries on route to car crashes!!

I know of one officer who had the programmable siren and they put the Mission Impossible theme tune onto it whilst he was on leave, they sent him through a very large tunnel and as he went in he hit the siren only for the tune to come blasting from the siren!! 8)

That thing sounds like it could be fun.

I found a new one today to help sooth your nerves when dealing with certain folks. Unfortunately it's kinda catchy and could lead to breaking out into song at inappropriate times.

My two cents:

Be careful what music you're playing in your car if you have an in-car camera / recording system. You just know some defense counsel is going to try and take the fact you cranked up your music during a chase to portray you as being some reckless cowboy...
