Michelin "Tweel"

Postby mark y » Tue Aug 14, 2007 11:24 am

Michelin released a new concept product a few months ago called the "Tweel". I can't explain it so you'll have to see for yourself.

See http://www.michelinmedia.com/default/kw=MCHtweel

Sorry if this has been posted before.

Sort of takes the fun out of spike belts, doesn't it?

I'm sure the neighbourhood's favourite Public Forum Janitor will be along any time now to find it. :smirk:

Funny - I can't seem to see a 'search' button on the forum anywhere since the upgrade to the new style.
I'm sure it's right in front of me, but...

Clicking on Wayner's link I see he posted it April 23rd at 7:03 p.m. and you were the second person to reply, 43 minutes after it was posted.

 Guilty. But only when I'm at work at my job as a walking insurance policy. Now that I have a real job I'll have a life... I hope.

This sure will make spike strips a thing of the past. Still, sure would be cool on a cruiser. They have a video that shows a Bobcat using tweels, that they drag over a landmine. The tweel suffers major damage, but still functions!
