It's okay to be a redneck, as long as your family tree still forks.

I drive a Nissan Micra haha, gets me from point A to B. Fuel efficient. Cheap to maintain.

Dream car is a Koenigsegg Jesko.

My question always is, if you want an econobox fine; but why not drive something that's at least more fun/better looking that's in the same price bracket?

Ie) Mazda 3 etc.

Because I got the Micra for 16k all in and a brand new model. As you said, econobox is perfect for me. Besides the Mazda 3 series at the time was still another 3-4k minimum.

If you buy new, fair enough. I buy my vehicles 1-2 years old (off lease) at which point with depreciation etc you get more room to play with

I buy used under $6,000 with no car payments and without personal collision coverage. Odds are either I save enough to replace it in 5 years or some asshat will wreck it and pay for it. Right now I drive a 2010 Ford Fusion SEL with 3.0L V6. Way better than the 2005 Dodge Dakota V8 I had... Will soon have a take home work vehicle so I'm glad I have a cheap vehicle for personal use. I just don't like making payments on vehicles and prefer to buy things outright.

Dream car? I have several... Camaro SS of just about any year, Corvette ZR1, Nissan GTR, Dodge Viper. Mostly like fast cars even though I'm pretty particular about driving the speed limit...
Humour and sarcasm are my default options. Except on Tuesdays.
