*Note when the accused first pulled the trigger, the hammer struck an empty casing.

Oh for sure. Even managed to pick up his flashlight in the process. When things go sideways.

I met Ross last month and had lunch with him. There's a lot more that wasn't shown on the released video, both before and after.

One thing I want everyone on here to know is that at the time that this happened he had about a year's service. He said that his training was good but not great and that what he did was read and study a lot of things related to officer survival on his own time.

And as a little but of trivia, the dirtbag that tried to shoot him was best friends with one of his brothers (he's a Mormon with like 9 brothers, but still).

I posted this on the other thread as well, sorry about the double post, I hope that it doesn't rile too many people.
