Toonces unfortunately, and unwittingly, observed a horrendous crime and gave evidence in a court of law thereby securing a conviction against the bad guys. After the trial, Toonces was whisked away and placed in the Witness Protection Program with a new identity. Think along the lines of "Darnell Turner", formerly Harry Monroe in a previous life.
