CDT RE-cert - uniform policy??

Postby thebrodz » Fri Apr 18, 2008 10:27 pm

It has come to my attention that CBSA officers that will be completing CDT re-cert will now be required to be in full uniform during the course. What are all the other agencies wearing??

The first I've heard if it.

Wearing your full duty uniform is not overkill, it's good training that conditions your body to simulate how it would be when your are dealing with situations in real life.

Well lets practice on asphalt then if that's the goal.

I'd bet this has a lot more to do with image than with simulating real world conditions.

note: I have yet to read the policy

I think the uniform is for on the range... all other CDT is in gym clothing.... I just read the policy on the intra-net...

Train to live so you can live on a train?

Jump on a train to live a life of training to live.

Actually I'd prefer it if he just ran in front of a train.

His push bar would save him. Then he could MDT his employees to notify the railway that one of their engineers was under arrest for failing to stop after a collision and evasion.
