CBC News - The National - Report on use of force by police

Postby Von » Fri Oct 18, 2013 12:11 am

Hi all, forum lurker here. Saw this on The National tonight, or rather, last night, and felt compelled to post it here. I'm interested on hearing some police opinions on this subject.

When police use force

CBC investigates police officers' life-and-death decisions
I was pleased that they did a decent enough job of showing both perspectives in this report. Far too often the media and the sheeple who eat up whatever they tell them get all rabid whenever police officers resort to deadly force to resolve a confrontation. It's important that people get both sides on the picture. I hope that after watching it the public will change how they view these situations, but given that the majority of people who watch The National, or at least, feel compelled to post comments on any given story, tend to be radical leftists, that seems unlikely.

But one can hope right? :banghead:

Well, the original link is 5 years old, how long would you like the Cbc to keep it active for? Maybe contact them and ask, or check YouTube.
When people get too chummy with me, I like to call them by the wrong name to let them know I don’t really care about them.
