As soon as he stepped out that would be problem one, opening trunk would be #2 and the last thing he does.

What's even more amazing, plenty of supportive comments for the RCMP. Usually not that case with most police/public interaction videos.

Well that interaction lasted a whole 10 minutes longer than it needed to.

I've had quite a few dealings with freemen at work.....annoying for the simple fact that there is (at least in my experience) no reasoning with them.

My experience as well. I don't even bother trying, nor do I entertain any of their bullshit claims.

I kept flinching when the asshole continued to reach inside the vehicle with the copper standing right next to him. I was expecting this to end up a whole lot worse based on that, but glad it didn't! I'm happy this went down with no injuries and the bad guy in custody.

Yah. Scary.
I would 'freak' out a little seeing the guy going for the trunk.

The member had shown a LOT of patience, patience that I wouldn't have.

My partner ticketed a "Free man on the land" today for a fare evasion infraction. The guy produced his DL as ID. The guy only started going on about being a "free man on the land" after my partner served him the ticket. It's pointless to even try to even argue or discuss things with them. Even if we are 100% in the right, we're still wrong in their minds.

Why bother arguing with people that want to play pretend lawyer? I don't anymore. Here is my decision based on the law. If you don't like it here is the way you can appeal it. Have a good day I have more people I need to deal with.

You guys are right, that officer showed a lot of patience. Too much. No chance that guy would have been playing around in his trunk, got back into the drivers seat, or any of the other 20 things he was allowed to get away with. He would have been on the ground pretty quick. I'm glad the officer didn't get hurt, but sweet jesus that was painful to watch.

Let's see if this works. I'm doing it from my IPad.
Here is the document I got from a Freeloader a few years ago after we arrested him. It's 3 full pages, long to read, but gives a good insight about how truly loony they are.

Is your pay being garnished as a result of the arrest? :P

On a side note, I see that vehicle has never had a Drive Clean test...

I fail to understand how a notary can sign off on that document in good conscience!
