Freeman of the Land
Re: Freeman of the Land
Ok, ....... Entertainment then.

... For the Grammar Police, get off my back, I wasn't born here.

It just shows another encounter with one of these "sovereign people". Not sure if they are part of the "Freemen of the Land", but a lot of their double-talk nonsense sounds the same. This cop was amazing, and kept these ignorant dumbasses at bay. The poster of this vid has a whole bunch of videos just like it, and each time he tries to pull his crap, he gets shut down.

*EDIT: He does say in another of his vids that he is "a member of the Freemen movement."
There is a difference, but they spout out the same BS when dealing with them. Sovereigns tend to be the more violent types, while freemen talk more than anything.
My work has recieved a fee shedule for $175,000 for a freeman I dealt with....

That's a deal...you'd better pay it at the discounted rate before it accrues interest!

Pay it with a cheque, and let it bounce. When they complain, tell them you don't believe in their banking system.
If you want to be treated with respect, then you should at least make an effort to be respectable.

Re: Freeman of the Land
The part that gets me is how they are so quick to act tough on Youtube, but you know the second they are in trouble they are crying on the phone for you officers to come and save them.
I bet they love collecting EI cheques from a nation they aren't a part of as well.....

They could, but would they really give up their "sovereign rights" and have a corporate identity in the world, then they would be just like the rest of us.

I thought they just picked what laws and social norms they wanted to follow.
K division.
Re: Freeman of the Land
To collect social assistance you would have to have some sort of identification. These "people" turn in everything (except their health cards). So I guess that could be used...

My best 'apology' letters have come from a Freeman. Hard to read and follow, but a good laugh.
