Halifax Regional Police will be cutting services, including the bike and mounted patrols, in it's efforts to save $ 2 million +. :((

No legend. The Knight's Templar were the good guys, depending on your perspective, who went on crusade to drive Saladin and his armies from the holy land and the Iberian peninsula.

I guess that made them bad guys to the Muslim armies.

Well, France's King Charles did not think they were all that great (although there are some rumours about his debt to the Templars . . .) and succeeded in making them practically extinct. So, in that vein a Templar avatar could be a harbinger of doom - especially as Friday the 13th approaches.

Since the first reply was arguably related to the OP, I guess thus one took two posts. :D

The Supreme Grand Master of the Knights Templar of Canada lives in Sarnia. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Meh. When was the last time somebody from France thought anything besides baguettes, Marcel Marceau and ugly cars was great?

Don't diss Halifax...only the roads, schools, tax structure and governance here are third world.

how many bicycles do they have to save $16,000?
Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. Your normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side. This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop-heart. Make the bastard chase you. He will follow"

Don't forget to add "poor military planning" and "surrendering" to that list.

But otherwise spot on!
