What ticks you OFF the most?

Postby Tango5 » Fri Aug 13, 2010 10:01 am

For me?

Bicycle Riders the most.
I am getting annoyed when I see a bicycle rider sharing the road with all the road users and when is time to stop on Red they seem to take off to the right, onto the crosswalk, over it and back to the road like nothing happen while others wait for Green.

What a piss off.
... For the Grammar Police, get off my back, I wasn't born here.

Going slow in the fast lane or getting cut off. Always funny when I pull them over driving a huge unmarked RV type forensic van. Good way to remind them that they never know who they just cut off!

People who don't stop at a four way stop sign and those who jam on the brakes and kinda stop 30 feet back from the intersection so that they don't have to yield to me by arriving second to the intersection and actually stopping.

Second spot goes to people who don't signal their turns.

I guess if these are the things that tick me off the most I must lead a pretty satisfying life otherwise.

Oh yeah, and customers who call me from their 9-5 job at 17:50 and ask for something for the next morning, and then finish by saying "thanks, you're a lifesaver!" and forgetting about these instances when it comes time to award the really good jobs...

While I'm at it, teenage boys who wear those baggy pants so stupidly low. (mine doesn't do it, nor do this friends, thank god)

And teenage girls who act stupid around boys but are actually probably much smarter than them. (ditto for my daughter; she does that and she's in trouble)

Service industry people who mumble. For gawd's sake, ENUNCIATE!!!

I'm getting crotchety.

Anyone who can not operate a vehicle at AT LEAST THE SPEED LIMIT....if your cruising down the 401 in the left lane at 80kph...TAKE THE DAMN SURFACE STREETS.

Trucks....there is no reason four of you bastards need your own lane to pass each other going 1kph faster than the other....stay in the rightmost lane! :cuss:

You know what really grinds my gears, When people notice you behind them and immediately feel they need to go 10-15 km/hr SLOWER then the speed limit. :banghead:

My area is really bad for people running "yellow" lights, to the point that the light is actually red when they enter the intersection. You will always see the exhaust pick up as people rush to beat the light. I keep thinking it will only be a matter of time, untill something bad happens.
