Nah, I wouldn't want to bring down the average awesomeness factor, brought to such astronomical heights by guys like VanB and Jim Street. I'll stick with sanitation.

An escort in and out of certain facilities with a handcuffed and shackled prisoner, who should have zero chance of having a weapon on him because he was just brought out of a prison.

You're not responding to calls or approaching vehicles with unknown variables.

When was the last time a CX shot someone? Do you know anyone who has?

Of all the criminal profiles I have read through my career so far a vast majority include defenseless victims that were murdered/raped/robbed/permanently injured. Keeping in mind that the profiles I read through are convicts incarcerated at a maximum level.

Yes, and if only they had been carrying a concealed firearm they'd be alive today.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

kind of makes you sound like a dick.

So this is how one becomes a "Super-Ultra-Mega Poobah" on the Blue Line Forums - by continually posting disgraceful comments.
We argue amongst ourselves whether civilians have the discernment and self control to carry a firearm in public, yet some of us can't even resist the urge to fire off pot-shots from a computer keyboard.
Someday in the future this topic will come up again and somebody will say "it's been discussed to death" - but it hasn't. The surface got scratched then the discussion degenerated into what you see below:

Yes, it's one of the ways.

You can also become a poobah overlord doing the same thing.

And for yourself you can just come off as a douche. But they haven't started giving out that vaunted distinction.
