I agree, but we all know damn well that an innocent is going to get hit sooner or later.

Re: CBSA- Student border services officer 09-10

I could have the best questioning in PIL and make the best referrals, but if the guy next to me is going to FTL everyone, what is being accomplished? If you don't think people see who the 'easy' officers are you're crazy. I know what you are getting at, but what does the acronym "FTL" sta...

Genghis Khan. If he was around, criminals would be executed before they even committed their crime.

Re: CBSA - Inland Enforcement Officer - Once again

I too feel that this position should be hired internally. The whole external or "hiring off the street" idea should be axed. Instead of having a degree as a requirement, the requirement should be a BSO who has substantive Immigration experience; so perhaps, set a requirement stating at lea...

Wow and look........ it only took you just over a week to notice this thread. I applaud your powers observation but surely they should be put to more use. Why aren't you in CSI? By the way, you don't "know" me at all. Nor do you know anyone that's met me or spoken to me or how I work. So ...

Re: CBSA- Student border services officer 09-10

I've heard some say it was much harder, i've heard others say it was a cake walk, so i guess it depends on the person Having written both the RPAT for the RCMP and recently writing the BSOT for CBSA, I would have to say that the BSOT is significantly harder than the RCMP's. That being that I passed...

Re: Ask the CBSA!

I think I have been a good boy this year... hoping Santa sees it the same way! Maybe I'll get an email stating I passed the interview in my stockings! PS - Is Santa exempt from importing goods into the Country? And what about international waste, do the reindeers have to fill out any paperwork to c...

Re: Ask the CBSA!

In my experience it has been the Canadians who have either had major attitude, or cared more about the bottle of booze you' bought on your 5 hour shopping spree. My experience with CBP has always been pleasant (and no, I've never flashed the badge). It pisses the shit out of me when I'm not asked f...

Ah hell, if the RCMP will not care about minor possession offenses, a night in the tank should be a no issue.
