Re: Ministry of Finance Enforcement
Really? 20yrmedal's friend already has a dated truck? The guy who lives down the road from me has the markings from like two generations back, he must not be popular at work hahaha. I'm not sure if his says Revenue or Finance though..... I'll take a closer look tonight when I go out. EDIT: It says M...

Re: after police foundation...
If you are interested in computer forensics/IT security type work, why wouldn't you go do a degree or diploma in computer science or computer engineering? Places like Seneca and Sheridan offer entire degrees in IT/informatics security. Worth looking into if that is what you really like to do.

Re: Alberta Sheriffs Posting
I think I'm going to put in for this. I have experience enforcing traffic regulations, only thing I don't have is LE training for sidearms, but I did learn how to handle and fire them in the military.

Re: Walmart greeters
I'm with Gard here, punching out the Walmart greeter for just touching your arm, that's unnecessary. Yes technically they have no legal right to stop you and check your receipt but come on, you are seriously going to punch out an 80 year old lady who tries to stop you and confirm your receipt, serio...

Re: Fisheries Officer (DFO)
Figured as much, looks like it's going to be a slow boat getting full time in Natural Resource Enforcement... Yea, it's without a doubt one of the more competitive fields... took me a couple tries to get on as a Park Warden and several more attempts at a CO or DFO spot, yet so far no luck.... it's ...

Re: HexBright Flashlight
We get our batteries from our office. I always have 3-4 sets of fresh ones with me, so I think I'll stick with them instead of the rechargable. I always carry a fresh set in my pocket, so if I'm ever out and my light starts to dim, I can just pop a new pair in and not have to worry about going to r...

Re: HexBright Flashlight
I've had enough of this shit. Im asking for my money back. This guy is a fucking total moron and hasn't got the slightest fucking idea how to run a business. Do what I did man, request your money back then send ATR a PM, he set me up with his flashlight contact and I just ordered a Maelstrom X7 for...

Re: O.P.P Part Time Positions
I could be wrong but I think the OPP actually does have a few part-timers kicking around. Though from my knowledge they are all experienced police officers who are either retired or nearing retirement. We got a large number of OPP on here though, I'm sure one will be around shortly to confirm or deny.

Re: what kind of martial arts?
I am.. But, I'm currently finishing up highschool to start the career path, and doing nightclub security to make a bit extra. Which means, I have no money or, very little money. Where would you suggest I go to get a good workout? I just workout outside, I use the local park. I do a couple laps arou...

Re: New Transit Safety Cruiser
Perhaps it was mounted backwards. Sounds like Toronto Zoo security. A few years ago they had a nice Code 3 light bar with the bottom level full of take down lights, but the take downs were facing to the rear. When I asked the guy he said their management deliberately installed it that way so they c...
