Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Corrections in 2019 started paying around 400$ per week, who knows, maybe CBSA will surprise the new recruits with similar changes in 2020. Key difference is that CSC is short staffed and doesn't get many applicants per year, whereas CBSA gets over 20,000 applicants/year for 200-300 positions MAX. ...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

I have a question for people who have attended Rigaud. I know that they give you $125 per week while at the college, but did you find this was enough to live off when you were there? I know it will vary based off of each persons different circumstances (mortgage, car payments, etc.) but I'm just wo...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

I thought they do all their correspondence via email. 88) I was surprised to get a call. I suspect they are filling up cancellations/deferrals. Now that I think about it, I had actually gotten a phone call for my interview as well. Then they called again the next day to reschedule due to flights. T...

Re: Ask the CBSA!

Hey guys, when do they ask for proof of the restricted/non-restricted firearms license proof? And specifically, what should I have on hand for when they ask for it as proof? I have the R/PAL card, and own some firearms... but I don't know what they'd want as proof. When I got my invite for the inte...

I don’t speak one word of french and I’m also quite young.. like I was saying just the luck of the draw I guess! Re: CBSA Applicant Chit Chat

Curious question for those who are currently officers: When you were invited to Riguad, were you given your Points Of Entry prior to Riguad? Or only when you were at the college did recruits know where they were heading? If the latter, was it kind of like, "these are the POE's available for this In...
