Re: Civilian equivalent to the Px4 Storm?

If the guy wants to buy the Px4, the restricted model is pretty much the same thing, a few extra mm difference. it would be vary compairable to shoot if not identicle. You just made that up, didn't you? Guess again. No really, go ahead and tell me the difference once more based on your extensive us...

Re: CBSA and sidearms

You can't enforce Canadian law on a native reservation. If you are wanted for a crime, the RCMP can not enter the reserve to arrest you.

Re: ASP Batton?

Letter carriers use "Dog Spray", not pepper spray, semantics, but as long as the can says for use on animals it is considered a pest control product under the federal pest control act. Use it on people and well now you can be charged for using a prohibited weapon. I hear you, but we've ha...

Re: Duty Knives

nrdone, Can you imagine trying to use brass knuckles for self-defense? Guy walks up to you and says "Give me your money or I'll kick your ass" and then you reach into your pocket, pull out your brass-knuckles, and take a full minute to thread your violently trembling fingers through all fo...

Re: ASP Batton?

Re: Quebec CBSA: no more tools in events

In a day and age where active shooters target educational institutions and commercial areas like malls, I really wonder what the logic is here. You'd think that being in uniform would give interested people a good idea of what sort of activities might be expected of them (ie pointing a firearm in a ...

Re: Private Memeber's Bill Introduced To End Long Gun Registry

The day I realized that the gun registry was a bottomless money pit and a waste of police time, was the day I spent my entire shift tracking down the new addresses of people who forgot to update the CFC with their move to a new address. I could have spent those hours arresting criminals, but noooo.....

Re: Problems with ASP Handcuffs?

I purchased a hinged set of ASPs a while back as a secondary and encountered similar flexing issues. It can be very easy to ruin the cuff so that the arm won't swing thru without effort because there is very little metal on the plastic part of the loop, not to mention the issue of the arm missing th...

Yes, I have some advice. Don't get into arguments with your instructors about how the charter applies to traffic stops. You'll have lots of other things to worry about.

Re: US Supreme Court Upholds Right to Own Handguns

In an interesting link between abortions and violent crime..... I was reading in a book the other day that some researchers believe there might be a link between increases in abortion and decreases in crime. Heres the wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legalized_abortion_and_crime_effect I thin...
