Ah, that's how it works....

I'm curious as its a bullpup...that's $3300. Hopefully trigger quality is reflected in the price.

Re: What do you guys think about.....

Hi. New here, just hoping to get a LEO's honest perspective on all the newer guns that are becoming available like the Tavor, RugerSR22, and all the short shotguns. Some having barrels of 8" or even 6" long. I am wondering how this affects you from an enforcement angle. With all the convo...

Re: Having A PAL License?

In regards to the OP: Feel free to get your PAL, consider it a 'life skill' like knowing how to safely drive. Sort of like how you already know how to drive when you go to police college, but you don't know how to operate a police car and that's why you're there to learn. Keep the info in the back o...

Re: Fatal Shooting on Native Reserve - USA *VIDEO*

Sure, if you prefer, although I don't think my post gives away any tactics that only police should/would know. The concept of considering two attackers is probably something that any law abiding citizen should consider too. Anyone who is defending him or herself and gets into a clinch with an attack...

Re: Fatal Shooting on Native Reserve - USA *VIDEO*

It is highly beneficial to observe and discuss these videos. Arm chair quarter backing would be saying "I'd handle it better" or something useless like that. There is a place for discussing what happened and alternative options. Even if the officer had not attempted the arrest, there still...

I have read that the triggers have improved considerably since the first run. The loctite is a little concerning though.

Re: ATT Approval Time

This whole issue could have been solved with the passing of C301. Instead of issuing a 'permission slip' in the form of an ATT, the firearms act would have been changed so that if you had a restricted license, you could transport to any range, POE, gunsmith, etc. I have absolutely no idea how ATTs s...

Re: S&W or Glock

Hey Dave - when the RCMP finally replaces the 5946 (whenever that is), what would you consider an optimal barrel length for its replacement, assuming a 9mm is chosen.... The optimum barrel length is the one that comes on the gun that is in your hand when you need it the most. Barrel length is prett...

Re: S&w or Glock

Just buy a G17. Looks silly with that little piece of barrel sticking through and it's not a factory barrel with matching serial number. Well, if you care about how it looks...... I just wanted him to be at least aware of the option. Some people really want a particular model. You can't go wrong wi...

Re: S&W or Glock

Brother, I know exactly what you mean! When I shot practical pistol, we would try to run about a 10:1 ratio; dry-fire to live-fire. It doesn't hurt the pistol at all, and when I was attempting to build up a small pittance of what I laughingly referred to as "my skills," we would do dry-fi...

Re: S&w or Glock

Hi everyone. I just received my firearms license for both restricted and non-restricted. I'm interested in getting a hand gun, and I have 2 in mind. 1)Glock 19 - 9mm You can't own a Glock 19. The reason why was covered in your CRFSC. You can buy a glock 19 at Questar's website. It has an aftermarke...

Re: New Sniper Record

And the Anti-Gun lobby is freaking out that its a non-restricted rifle and won't need to be registered after C391. Yet they show a picture of it with a suppressor attached. http://www.guncontrol.ca/English/Home/Home.htm

Won't someone think of the children...

Re: Private Memeber's Bill Introduced To End Long Gun Registry

I imagine after the abolishment of the registry there will be quite a few non-restricted semi-autos that will go the way of the AR15.

Re: How arming citizens with guns might cut crime

Typically these laws allow someone to carry into the establishment, but not drink alcohol.

And yes, openly carrying is tactically a bad idea. It seems to be more of a political statement.
